Travel Photo Challenge & Good Writer Talks

I have been nominated by Beth at ETB Travel Photography and Janet Brenneman on Facebook to post one favorite travel picture a day for ten days without explanation, then to nominate someone else to participate. That’s 10 days, 10 travel pictures, and 10 nominations. I am honored and give my warm thanks to both of these outstanding photographers for nominating me.

I hope neither will mind if I do a variation. Rather than posting separate days on both platforms (20 posts in all!), I’m combining ten photos in this one post. And instead of nominations, I invite any of my fellow bloggers and Facebook friends to join the challenge if you chose. I would love to see your photos.

As directed, there are no explanations for these images. Having spent months reviewing gigabytes of photos to put some favorites together for the Photography pages on this website, each of the following images appear in one of those collections. Hunt them down if you wish!

My thanks as well to Anand Kumar for including me in the Good Writer Talks series on his Your Need blog. You can read my interview with Anand here.

Where are these places? Answers at the end of next week’s post, Comalapa, town of artists.

    1. Thanks! I know many photographer bloggers just post one photo at a time, but for me it’s about the writing as well. I have been dropping in and out of various streaming platforms. I’ll look for that one next time I join Netflix again. It looks interesting.

  1. I’m guessing one may be Santorini maybe, I’ve never been but those white buildings and blue roofs find their way online a lot haha. Gorgeous photos anyway, looking forward to the big reveal!

  2. I wish I’d thought to approach this challenge ‘all in one post’ like this! I know a couple of your places – Galapagos Islands (maybe Espanola, as that’s where we saw the most Blue-footed Boobies?) and Taos Pueblo, which I recently blogged about myself. The stone lantern is in Japan somewhere – maybe Nikko or Kyoto? The one with the woman carrying all the textiles has to be Guatemala but no idea where! And I’m thinking Greek Island for another, but the leopard and dolphins could be any number of places πŸ˜‰
